the way to Vienna stopped to visit the Abbey of St. Florian , known as Chorherrenstift Augustiner. Is very close Linz and is one of the most important monasteries of Austria . Mounted around a nice Christmas market and craft.
After eating some snacks next to the abbey continued our journey to the town of Steyr , a magnificent medieval village built at the confluence of the rivers Enns and Steyr . The cobbled streets of beautiful historic center opportunity to walk among the aromas of the food stalls of the Christmas markets.
Steyr has several unique buildings like City Hall rococo of the eighteenth century churches and even a castle . On weekends it is crowded with tourists.
When night came we returned the car to return to Vienna . As the next morning we had to catch a plane early look for a hotel near the airport to wakeup. We stayed at the Eurohotel , located five kilometers terminal, next to the highway. The double without breakfast and parking cost us 51 euros. Highly recommended if you intend to fly first thing in the morning.
