What Is A Good Book To Learn Football

Earth Hour - Bolivia

More than one billion people in more than one hundred countries around the world participated in Earth Hour 2010.
Famous monuments, iconic buildings, points including historic Golden Gate Bridge and Opera House in Sydney, the Colosseum in Rome, Coca Cola billboard in Times Square, among others, turned off their lights in March. In 2011 this initiative aims to reach even further around the world. Buildings like the CN Tower in Toronto, and the world's tallest building in Dubai (Burj Dubaiin), among others, again turn off their lights for one hour.

Earth Hour 2011 in Bolivia
In Bolivia, there are several cities that are joining Earth Hour. These will join this campaign together individuals, businesses, municipal governments and many others.

The invitation is made!
This year, millions of people from all social classes and ages will join back to Earth Hour showing the world that it is possible to take action in the fight against global warming.

-o- Earth Hour is WWF's global campaign that started in 2007 in Australia to draw attention to the need for solutions to global warming. Each year, cities and communities off the light on the last Saturday of March for a period of one hour, as a symbolic act to encourage individuals and businesses save energy in their daily lives, unplugging unused appliances and switching to low-energy light bulbs areas of high use, among others.

WWF Bolivia, in collaboration with many institutions and companies in the country, promoted Earth Hour in Bolivia since 2008. See full list of contributors here.
